Tracking & logging

Sleep, feeds, pumps, diapers, growth, milestones — how to log, edit, and undo.

Sleep

The Rhythm Guide, sleep sounds, wake windows, and the right-hand menu's quick-log.

Feeding & milk stash

Feed and pump logging, and Milk Stash — the freezer / fridge inventory.

Family

Adding children, switching between them, sharing with co-parents, grandparents, and sitters.

How do I add a co-parent or guest?

Three places to start: the family-member dropdown (chevron next to your child's name → Invite a co-parent), My Account → Family → Add a guest, or the one-time prompt during onboarding. Pick what they can see (tracker, plan, growth, milestones, milk stash, etc.) and Happyly emails them a sign-in link.

How do I dictate a Family Chats message by voice?

Tap the mic button in the composer. Talk through what you want to say, then tap to drop the transcript into the input where you can edit before sending. Original audio is never saved.

How do I log a growth measurement?

Family → child → Growth → Add a measurement. Or tell Happyly — "weight 7.4kg, length 65cm at today's check-up" works in one go.

How do I log a medication dose?

Family → child → Medications → Log a dose. Happyly is a logger — it never advises a dose. Dosing questions go to your pediatrician or pharmacist; Happyly records what you gave once it's settled.

How do I log a milestone or first?

Family → child → Moments → Save a moment. Or tell Happyly in chat — "first laugh today" or "sat up unassisted." Add a photo from the same screen if you want.

How do I log a vaccine?

Family → child → Vaccines. Tap a vaccine and mark it given. Happyly records what your child has had — never advises whether or when to vaccinate. That conversation belongs with your pediatrician.

How do I remove or edit a guest?

My Account → Sharing → tap the guest. Change their permissions or tap Remove. Removal is immediate and revokes access — their account isn't deleted, but they lose all access to your data. Removing a guest with Co-parent presence also drops their avatar from your watch chrome.

How do I share the Rhythm Guide with a partner or sitter?

Open the Rhythm Guide and tap Share, or go to My Account → Sharing. Happyly creates a public link anyone with the URL can view — no Happyly account needed.

How do I switch between children?

Tap the child's name button at the top of Chat, Insights, or Rhythm Guide. Or tell Happyly "switch to {childName}." Every screen — tracker, plan, insights — updates to that child.

How do replies, reactions, and photos work in Family Chats?

Long-press (or right-click) any message to open the actions menu — react with an emoji, reply to that specific message, edit, or unsend. Tap the camera in the composer to attach up to 10 photos.

Marking the child as out (daycare, grandma, the other parent)

Tap the watch chip → Mark out → pick a reason (Daycare / With other parent / With grandma / With sitter / Other). The chip flips to Out · {reason} for every caregiver in your family. When you're home, tap the Out chip → We're back and Happyly offers to put the watch back on you.

What is Family Chats and how do I use it?

Family Chats is a private message space inside Happyly for you and your caregivers — co-parent, grandparents, sitter. Open the Chats panel in the right-hand menu. Plus tier and above.

Who's on the watch? — the caregiver chip explained

Next to your child's name, a small chip shows who's actively watching right now. The chip adapts to four states (Solo, Family-here, Co-active, Out), supports active-accept handoff so the watch never transfers silently. Time-sensitive hand-offs send a push by default — quiet otherwise, no scoreboard.
