What if Happyly stops responding in chat?

If a reply stalls mid-stream, tap the stop button next to the input. If the screen looks frozen, refresh the page. Your messages stay saved either way — nothing is lost.

Most chat hiccups are network or browser-tab issues, not data loss. Try these in order — each takes a few seconds.

A reply is stuck mid-sentence.

Tap the stop button next to the input. The streaming reply ends, your last message stays in the chat, and you can send a new one. If Happyly produced something useful before the stall, it's saved; if not, just retype.

The whole chat is frozen.

Refresh the page (browser) or pull down to refresh (mobile app). Your message history is stored on the server, so a refresh re-loads everything. The active sleep / feed / pump trackers and the Rhythm Guide all reload too.

A long reply got cut off.

Ask Happyly to continue — "keep going" works, or just paste back the last line you saw. Replies are bounded so the coach doesn't run forever; if you want more, ask for it.

Nothing seems to fix it.

Check your internet connection — Happyly needs a live connection to chat. If you're on patchy Wi-Fi, switching to mobile data (or vice versa) usually unsticks things. If the issue persists for more than a few minutes, send us a note via Email support below.

What's never lost.

Everything you've logged — sleeps, feeds, pumps, diapers, growth, milestones, medications, vaccines — lives on the server. A frozen chat tab can't lose any of it.
