How do I log a vaccine?

Family → child → Vaccines. Tap a vaccine and mark it given. Happyly records what your child has had — never advises whether or when to vaccinate. That conversation belongs with your pediatrician.

The Vaccines tab lets you record what your child has been given so it's all in one place — handy for school enrollment forms, travel, and switching pediatricians.

Logging a given vaccine.

  1. Family → tap your child → Vaccines.
  2. Find the vaccine on the list.
  3. Tap it and mark it given with the date.
  4. Save.

Status labels.

Vaccines render as one of:

  • Given — your child has had this dose
  • Due — the calendar window for this dose is open now
  • Still to give — there's a future dose in this series
  • Upcoming — scheduled for a future visit

Note: Happyly never uses "overdue" or "missed." Schedules vary by family, country, and medical guidance — that conversation belongs with your pediatrician.

Editing or deleting an entry.

Tap the entry. You can fix a typo on the date or remove the entry, but you can't change it to a vaccine your child didn't receive.

Adding a vaccine that's not on the list.

Tap Add a vaccine. Useful for travel vaccines, country-specific schedules, or older entries the default list doesn't include.
