How do I log a milestone or first?
Family → child → Moments → Save a moment. Or tell Happyly in chat — "first laugh today" or "sat up unassisted." Add a photo from the same screen if you want.
Moments (milestones / firsts) are personal entries — first smile, first roll, first "mama," first solid food. There's no benchmark, no age comparison, and no late / overdue framing. Whenever it happens for your child is when it happens.
From the Family page.
- Family → tap your child → Moments.
- Tap Save a moment (or Save the first one if it's your first).
- Type what happened. Date defaults to today.
- Optionally attach a photo.
- Save.
From chat.
"First laugh today!" Happyly offers a one-tap confirmation. Photos can't be added from chat — use the Save a moment screen for that.
Suggestion chips.
The Save-a-moment screen shows a row of suggestion chips at typical ages — clap, wave, first word — but they're starting points, not a checklist. Skip any that don't apply to your child. Tap one to pre-fill the name and category; tap it again (or the small From suggestion ✕ pill under the name) to clear it.
Not sure exactly when it happened?
Tap Around this month next to the date. The moment is saved with a soft "circa {month}" stamp instead of a specific day — useful when you're catching up on something that happened weeks (or years) ago and you remember the month but not the day.
